Editorial and Sources Policy
FAROCK is a news-monitoring platform that aggregates information from selected sources: official institutions, international organisations, public media, national news agencies and major regional media — presented transparently, with the source always credited. This page explains how we work.
What you are reading, exactly
- We clearly distinguish: original FAROCK content, content aggregated from external sources, automated summaries, machine translations, and official sources.
- Every machine translation carries a “Machine translation” label until it has been reviewed by a human.
- Every automated summary carries an “Automated summary” label.
Sources and links
- We always keep the original source's name and link visible to the reader.
- We never copy full articles — a headline, a short excerpt and a link to the original.
- We do not automatically import external images, out of respect for rights holders.
Human review
- Sensitive or non-official sources are subject to human review before publication.
- Every new source goes through an observation period during which human review is mandatory, even if it is official.
Religion
- We treat religious news as public information: institutional statements, calendars and events. FAROCK does not issue fatwas, religious advice or doctrinal positions.
Paid media
- Paid media and personal subscriptions are never republished automatically, and we never bypass paywalls.
Content life cycle and errors
- Older content may be archived automatically once it is no longer current.
- If you notice an error — translation, attribution or otherwise — report it via the “Report an error” link on pages, or through the Contact page.
- This policy may evolve; this page is updated whenever it changes.
